During the event, K&D Technology not only delivered a keynote speech titled "Towards Intelligent Mobility: Redefining the New In-Car Display Experience" but also showcased products in the exhibition area, including an extreme narrow-bezel dual-screen, medium-free air imaging display, a 21.5-inch ceiling-mounted screen, a hidden wood-grain display, and self-developed dual-screen coated cover glass. This facilitated in-depth technical exchanges with the smart cockpit expert team from Dongfeng R&D Institute.

Air Imaging: Utilizing the principle of light field reconstruction to achieve imaging in free space. While preserving the driver's field of view, it can dynamically display navigation and entertainment information, enabling a "virtual-real fusion" interactive experience through gestures and voice. It features "non-medium," "contactless," "fingerprint-resistant," "infection-resistant," and "anti-static" characteristics, making it suitable for applications in information security, medical displays, public facilities, and smart automotive fields.
Wood-Grain Display: Custom-developed for high-end models, it integrates luxurious interior design, transforming wood-grain accents from purely decorative elements into a combination of decoration plus intelligent display and control. When off, it presents a wood-grain interior effect; when touched, it reveals control and display functions. Utilizing local dimming technology, it achieves a million-to-one contrast ratio, solving the backlight bleeding issue of traditional displays.
Extreme Narrow Bezel Dual-Screen: Specifically designed for smart cockpit instrument clusters and central control systems, it utilizes ultra-thin displays (thickness ≤5mm). Through integrated die-cast lower frame integration with Tier-1 customer rear housings, it achieves a 40% reduction in bezel width and a 35% improvement in space utilization. This solution combines aesthetics and functionality, providing an industry-leading narrow bezel solution for automotive displays.
