K&D Technology is deeply committed to innovation in the Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) sector, having established green factories in Bengbu and Shenzhen. For example, the Shenzhen BIPV project saves over 365.30 tons of standard coal annually (based on 2020 standards), while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by >515.66 tons, sulfur dioxide by >27.12 tons, and nitrogen oxides by >13.57 tons each year, delivering significant environmental and social benefits.

K&D Technology's Shenzhen R&D and production base is equipped with distributed energy storage systems, which are projected to reduce carbon emissions equivalent to fossil fuel consumption by 684 tons annually.

K&D Technology has developed a waste heat recovery system that utilizes two-stage thermal energy cascade technology to efficiently recover industrial waste heat. This system saves 400,000 kWh of electricity per year, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 200 tons.

K&D has established a closed-loop system encompassing "design-production-recovery-regeneration," which has reduced landfill waste by 35 tons, cut carbon emissions from petroleum resource extraction by around 200 tons of CO₂, and decreased plastic waste generation by 800 tons.

K&D Technology’s industrial wastewater recycling and regeneration system saves 3,000 cubic meters of water monthly and 36,000 cubic meters annually. This reduction in wastewater discharge is equivalent to protecting 14,400 square meters of wetland ecosystem, achieving a wastewater reuse rate of over 90% and forming a closed-loop water resource management system.

Through optimized material innovation, advanced processes, and strict control of hazardous substances in accordance with the "Environmental Hazardous Substance Management Standards," K&D ensures zero VOC emissions and zero pollution in production.

K&D Technology's high-efficiency central air-conditioning plant room energy-saving system saves approximately 2 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1,000 tons, while delivering energy cost savings of 2 million RMB.

K&D Technology has implemented a comprehensive training system, conducting 48 carbon footprint training sessions in 2024 with full coverage of 3,000 employees and a 95% pass rate. The company also promotes innovation through initiatives such as the annual "Innovation and Efficiency Competition," which gathered over 320 energy-saving suggestions from employees in 2024. In December 2024, Bengbu K&D was awarded the title of "National Green Factory," while Shenzhen K&D’s green factory certification is currently in progress.
